"Empire State of Mind" is a single by American hip hop rapper Jay-Z, released as the third single from his studio album The Blueprint 3 (2009) on his Roc Nation label. It features guest vocals from R&B and soul singer-songwriter Alicia Keys. The song is an anthemic ode to Jay-Z's and Keys's native New York City, featuring sampling of "Love on a Two-Way Street" by The Moments. It also contains elements of electropop and orchestra pop. Jay-Z and Keys performed the song at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, as well as the American Music Awards of 2009. It is also the plate music for New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter.

Jam Hsiao (Chinese: 蕭敬騰),is a famous Taiwanese singer. In summer 2007, this young talented singer rose to fame with only three brief appearances in the first season of CTV's 中視 star search show,"One Million Star 超級星光大道", which is a singing competition reality show similar to American Idol. A self-taught player of numerous music instruments, Hsiao is known for his wide vocal ranges, unique singing style, diverse music genres, and astounding charisma in his live performance.

On November 13 2009, he came out a album name 3th LOVE Moments «愛的時刻 自選輯». Included a song by 萬芳 - 新不了情 but only this time it is his song now. Enjoy !

A perfect movie for pre-teen and early teen girls but a letdown for the rest of the audience due to its slow pace and whiny tone. The number one killer is that it's two hours and 10 minutes long and the plot recycles itself over and over again.
Storyline is so predictable. Kind of disappointing.

Rooney's Hatricks in 4-1 thrashing against Portmouth

United ran out 4-1 winners at Fratton Park despite a spirited showing from the home side, with the visitors taking the lead from a Wayne Rooney penalty on 25 minutes. Antonio Valencia had broken away on the counter and, when he found Rooney in the area, Michael Brown brought the striker down in the area.

Portsmouth were level seven minutes later, though, when referee Mike Dean pointed to the penalty spot after his assistant spotted Nemanja Vidic tugging on Frederic Piquionne's shirt. United protested furiously, but - after missing from the spot against Stoke the previous weekend - Kevin-Prince Boateng made no mistake as he fired the ball past Tomasz Kuszczak.

But United were back ahead within three minutes of the restart when Ryan Giggs played a perfectly weighted ball into the path of Rooney, who slotted beyond Asmir Begovic. United then benefited from the third penalty of the game when Piquionne brought down Giggs just inside the area and Rooney stepped up to complete his hat-trick.

Giggs made it 4-1 when he curled a free-kick around the wall into the bottom corner. Substitute John Utaka then saw a fine effort tipped onto the bar in the dying moments to sum up an unfortunate day for Pompey's new manager.

Grant was taking charge of a team for the first time since Chelsea's dramatic penalty shoot-out defeat to United in the 2008 Champions League final.

She’s had quite a year as she’s settled into marriage and motherhood, and Ashlee Simpson says she’s loved being a mom.

Spotted out shopping with Pete Wentz and their son Bronx Mowgli at Dragon Books in Los Angeles earlier, the “Pieces of Me” songstress confessed that having a little one “is the most fantastic experience I have ever been through,” adding that the one-year-old (who celebrates his birthday today) makes her “laugh and smile every day.”

Ashlee’s sister Jessica took to her Twitter page this morning, saying, “Happy Birthdya to my precious angel on earth!!! Bronx is 1 today!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! I can’t believe it has been a year already.”

Proud papa Pete Wentz tweeted, “Happy birthday bx. you dont have twitter and cant read this. Thanks to all my friends that recorded lullabies. cant believe its been a year.”

Ren Ci founder (Shi Ming Yi) sentenced to 10 months jail

Singapore: The ex—CEO of Ren Ci Hospital Shi Ming Yi has been sentenced to ten months in jail.

A district court has also sentenced his former aide, 34—year old Raymond Yeung, to nine months’ imprisonment.

Forty—seven year old Ming Yi, whose real name is Goh Kah Heng, and Yeung were convicted in October for falsifying Ren Ci payment vouchers.

Both men were brought to court last year.

District Judge Toh Yung Cheong also convicted them of giving false information to the Commissioner of Charities.

For falsifying accounts, the pair could have been jailed up to seven years and fined.

And for giving false information to the Commissioner, both could have been jailed a maximum of one year and fined up to S$5000.

Taylor Swift: Out for “Children In Need”

Winding down another long day promoting overseas, Taylor Swift was spotted greeting fans outside her London Hotel on Friday night.

The country cutie signed autographs and posed for pictures before making her way to the ‘Children in Need’ event at the BBC.

Meanwhile, Miss Swift’s rumored beau, Taylor Lautner, spoke briefly of the “You Belong with Me” singer on the “Today” show this morning.

“How’s that going?” Matt Lauer asked of the relationship, noting that he’d seen Swift’s shoutout to He-Taylor on “SNL.”

“She’s great. She’s a great girl,” Lautner said. “I was definitely blushing when that happened.”

“So you didn’t expect it?” Matt added. “No, it was a surprise,” Taylor answered.
