His body is reportedly being laid to rest tomorrow evening (September 3), and according to recent reports, Michael Jackson’s estate may end up paying the bill.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff authorized the current administrators of Jackson’s estate to pay for Jackson’s funeral and interment.
An attorney for the singer’s estate, Jeryll Cohen, said the costs will be paidand that the debt-ridden estate has enough cash to pay for the funeral.
Adding, “The expenses are extraordinary, however, Michael Jackson was extraordinary,” Cohen said.
The King of Pop’s burial will be a private sunset service for family and friends at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA.
